As the second semester begins Nipomo FFA has begun to take hold of thousands of opportunities for our members! Our sectional public speakers are continuing to practice in preparation for the regional contest in February. The Citrus Judging, Water Issues, and Parliamentary Procedure Contests are in full swing and continue to practice for the upcoming contest season. Over a very well deserved winter break, our Nipomo Leadership class took a leadership retreat, which taught them a whole new skillset and mindset ready to serve our chapter and work together for the last semester! Meeting together at 4am they travelled to the Cal Poly Dairy and had the chance to milk some jersey cows and finished with a team bonding breakfast at the Madonna Inn. We are starting the year strong and refilled with a new sense of purpose and motivation to serve!
